How file privacy works.

Your files

Files selected for conversion, compression, image background removal and speech cleanup are processed in your browser. These tools do not upload them to a conversion server or save them to an account. Outputs use temporary browser URLs, not public download pages. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them. Refreshing or closing the page clears the active workspace.

Website requests

Your browser requests the site and processing software from our host. Google Fonts receives requests to load the fonts. Hosting services receive ordinary request information such as IP addresses. Local file processing does not mean there are no network requests. We use the Meta Pixel to measure visits from our ads; it records page views only and never receives your files, file names, prompts or other content you enter.

AI Studio (retired)

AI Studio was retired in October 2026 and no new uploads or generations are possible. Any remaining uploads and results from past jobs are deleted by the scheduled cleanup, which runs about hourly: uploads are removed roughly a day after they were added and results about 7 days after they were made. We keep a record of each past job, its settings and the credits used.

Accounts and link downloads

Sign-in is open. Instagram and TikTok link downloads work differently from uploaded files: the link you paste is sent to our server, which asks our provider Apify to fetch the public video and passes the file to your browser. We keep a record of your account and the time of each request to enforce limits, not the link or the video. Choosing audio or a clip is then done on your device. YouTube downloading is not offered.

Error reports

When something breaks unexpectedly, your browser or our server sends a short diagnostic report so we can fix it. It contains only an error type, the affected tool and page, the position in our own code, a device category such as "mobile · Safari", the site version, and a random ID for that browser tab. It never includes your files, file names, audio, transcripts, pasted links, email address, sign-in codes or payment details. Reports are deleted after 30 days.

Before sharing

Review your output and keep your original. Format conversion is not a certified method for removing every kind of identifying metadata. This page describes the current implementation, not a promise about future account or server retention policies.
